Last week in Title 1 Reading, reading progress graphs, goals, reading activities, and a parent survey was sent home with your child. I am very excited to see all the progress that students have made. If you did not get a chance to fill out the paper copy of the parent survey, would you please fill out the attached WIS-S Title 1 parent survey by clicking on the link and let us know how we are doing and how we can improve? I appreciate all of your feedback and thank you for your support in this reading program!

I am so excited to see all of the students back from break! This week in Title reading, we will be reviewing our personal reading goals and focusing on fluency to get us back into the swing of school and reading aloud. We will also begin our Progress Monitoring to get a quick check on our reading progress and to set new reading goals for the month. Be on the lookout for scores and goals to come out in the next few weeks. Students will be recording and analyzing our passages on Seesaw for you to listen to and see the progress student's are making!
Something new for students this semester is our new Books & Breakfast Reading Club that will start Tuesday, January 14th at 7:30 a.m. in the library. This club is going to be focusing on Reading Fluency, Comprehension, Intervention Activities, and we will be enjoying Hot Cocoa! Students may bring a portable breakfast such as pop tarts, muffins, or a granola bar to enjoy or they can eat breakfast at 8:10 in the cafeteria. We hope your child can attend! |
